International crime watchdogs continue to place South Africa as one of the countries with the highest incidents of sexual violence in the world. Sadly, the victims as well as perpetrators of this violence in most cases are teenagers and young adults. As a response to this call, our organisation has developed an awareness raising project to reach out to high school students in particular and young people in general, with information that adapts to their age group on the detrimental consequences of rape. The content of the literary material and seminars have been developed within a context that fits the target groups, with the aim of changing prevailing sexual perceptions among young people that often incite sexual violence, and replace these perceptions with attitudes that are non- violent and non- criminal in nature.

774 million adults worldwide cannot read or write and 183 million of them are in Sub Saharan Africa. The literacy rate in sub Saharan Africa is the lowest in the world, and of the 10 countries with the lowest literacy rates, no fewer than seven are in West Africa and mostly in rural areas. Bible In My Language is an initiative of AfriMission Renaissance designed to reach oral learners with the gospel by providing Audio Bibles in their local languages. So far, we have given out Audio Bibles to many people through the support of Davar International.
Be part of this great project by giving a family an Audio Bible that is solar powered at the cost of $30.
That evening the disciples came to him and said, “This is a remote place, and it’s already getting late. Send the crowds away so they can go to the villages and buy food for themselves.” But Jesus said, “That isn’t necessary- you feed them.” Matthew 14:15, 16, NLT.
“Feed Them” is a feeding programme operated by AfriMission Renaissance in Roodepoort, South Africa. This initiative has become a platform to reach young people vulnerable to crime with the gospel of Jesus Christ. We are grateful to God that through this effort a few of them are currently going through drug rehabilitation programme initiated by Roodepoort Inner City Outreach ( R.I.C.O).
